Aust stocks open mixed as market seeks direction

The Australian sharemarket has reversed an early dip to be slightly positive at the
open, despite another feeble Wall Street performance.

At 1016 AEDT, the benchmark all ordinaries index was up 0.7 of a point at 3131.1, after
